UPCOMING EVENTS - San Agustín CAMPUS

Jan 17th, 2024

Dear ISR Community,

After this semester’s first days of school activities, we continue with all our plans and activities to complete a successful school year.

We remind parents of the importance of students complying with school guidelines, attending school punctually, wearing the complete uniform, and following their teachers'  expectations.

Due to the state’s low temperatures forecasted for next week, the Governor has issued a statement leaving the decision about school attendance up to parents.

In this regard, the school will remain open, and classes will be held as usual. However, we understand and respect the decisions of families who prefer not to send their children to school under these circumstances. As such, absences on January 20, 21, and 22, 2025, will not be counted.

To ensure continuity in the teaching and learning process, our teachers will use regular platforms, such as Google Classroom and/or Seesaw, to share activities that allow students to work from home without falling behind academically. Please remember that we are approaching the end of the evaluation period, so staying on top of schoolwork at home is very important.

We encourage you to support your children and foster the value of responsibility.  We appreciate your collaboration.

You can access our important dates for the second semester here.

SAVE THE DATE. Great Kindness Challenge week is coming… January 27- 31, 2025.

Let us continue strengthening the culture of respect, responsibility, empathy, and resilience.

Warm Regards,

Laura Elizondo Rios

Invitation to Third Parties

To facilitate the process for invitations to third parties and thus speed up the exit process, please use one of these two options:

1. For those people picking up students who are not parents of the school, add them as a drivers and give them authorization to pick up the children. The driver must download the Skolable App on the phone.

2. For ISR families, create a "round" in which the invited children are included

3. It is the responsibility of parents to delete permits when no longer needed.

Ecology Program as an Eco School

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we encourage you to embrace the 3R's of ecology—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—in that order. Before recycling, consider how you can reduce waste at home and find creative ways to reuse items. Recycling is important, but it's the last step in minimizing waste.

When you bring your recyclable materials to the ISR Recycling Center, please ensure they are placed in the correct colored containers. Double-check our guidelines to ensure you're only bringing items we accept. Together, let's work to create a cleaner, greener future!

Thank you for your continued support.
