Dear ISR Community,
At San Roberto, our approach to teaching and learning goes beyond the classroom. We would like to share with our families the definition that guides how we teach, learn, and grow together as a community:

We remind parents that a culture of respect is grounded in the intentional commitment of all community members. We require everyone’s collaboration in respecting and following school procedures, being empathetic, focused, and caring for all members of the community, rather than only on individual needs. All our actions speak about who we are. Let’s all be Proud to be ISR!
October is Bullying Prevention Month, a time to focus on and raise awareness of bullying. Throughout the month, our counsellors will work with students on bullying prevention strategies during their SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) sessions. We will also offer special conferences for our Upper Elementary and Middle School students, sessions for all parents, and training for our teachers and staff members. These are part of our ongoing efforts as a school to promote bullying prevention and foster a safe and caring community. More information will be shared soon.
As all of you know, due to the weather, the Family Movie Night event has been rescheduled for this coming Friday, October 9. PBS has prepared many surprises. Bring something to sit or lie down on the floor.
We will begin our yearly Hearing and Sight evaluations from October 19 to 21. For more information, please read this newsletter.

Every river starts at the sea, and our trash can end up in it. The rivers of our city flow all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, so caring for them is caring for the ocean.
The ISR EcoTeam invites students and families to our river clean-up:

Shaped by Compassion
As part of the "Shaped by Compassion" campaign, we promote activities that help our students strengthen the values of responsibility, respect, and resilience, enabling them to experience compassion as a concrete and meaningful act toward others.
Student ID Card Replacement
Complete the following form if you need to replace a student ID card.
The ID card replacement fee is 150 pesos, which the cashier will charge to your account statement.
Please note that the replacement process may take several weeks.

Invitations to Third Parties (Skolable)
To facilitate the process for invitations to third parties and thus speed up the exit process, please use one of these two options:
1. For those people picking up students who are not parents of the school, add them as drivers and give them authorization to pick up the children. The driver must download the Skolable App on the phone.
2. For ISR families, create a "round" in which the invited children are included
3. It is the responsibility of parents to delete permits when no longer needed.

Cafeteria Service
"La Casita" CAFETERIA serves elementary and middle school students and staff members during recess and after school, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
We launched the OrderEAT application in our school, designed especially so you can check the food your children eat.
Preschool Snacks
It's an optional service that can be charged monthly to your bill; it substitutes the snack sent from home for Nursery, PI, PII, and Pre-primary grades.

Important Notice – Flu Season
To protect the health of our school community, we ask parents to inform School Health if their child has symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or general feeling unwell.
The student should stay home until they have fully recovered, following medical recommendations.

Little Free Library
Dear ISR community,
Just a friendly reminder that our campus has a “Little Free Library”, a special space donated by PBS where families can share the joy of reading by exchanging books. You’ll find it right outside the reception office. We invite you to stop by anytime and bring a favorite pre-loved book* in good condition. Take a new story home to enjoy together as a family.
